Throughout this page “we’ refers to Sherilyn Is My Personal Driver.

Quotations

We will provide you with a quotation which can vary depending on the time of day and purpose of the transfer.

Quotations are valid for 14 days of the quote and are subject to availability. 

A 25% surcharge applies for all bookings that begin between 11.00pm and 04:59am.

A $10 per child (baby/booster) seat applies.

Airport parking fees for an inside terminal meet and greet service is $15.

Special events transfers and wedding transfers are quoted at a higher rate.

All tours are quoted disclosing inclusions and exclusions.

All quotations include GST and where applicable road tolls.

Bookings

All accepted bookings are subject to terms and conditions. By making a booking with Sherilyn Is My Personal Driver, you are accepting the following terms and conditions.

Bookings must be made via text, email or the contact form on the website.

A booking is when both parties agree to proceed with a transfer date, time and price for the transfer and confirmation is given to the future client/passenger.

Booking fee (non refundable)

Booking fees may be required for trips more than 60 minutes. 

Booking fees (20%) are required for day tours and wedding transportation and the balance is due 7 days prior to the booked date.

Booking fees (50%) are required for special events and high demand events such as Melbourne Cup, Sporting Events, New Years Eve, Spring Carnival, Christmas Day, Grand Prix, Australian Open and the balance is due 7 days prior to the booked date.

Hours of business

Advance bookings can be made for anytime via the contact form on this website, via email or text. The booking will be confirmed during online operating hours of 9am to 6pm (Australian Eastern Time).

Minimum fare

  • The minimum fare for all standard transfer services is from $80.00

  • The minimum fare for hourly hire is from $130.00

  • The minimum fare for a day tour, weddings or a special event booking is from $150.00

Service Fee for Credit Card Payments

Square service fees (1.9%) are applicable to all bookings paid by credit card and are non-refundable. An administration fee is applicable for tours, wedding transport, and special events. This fee will be itemised within the quote and is non-refundable.

Amendments

Should you wish to make any changes to your booking after the booking has been confirmed, these changes can only be accepted subject to availability and we will endeavour to make every effort to accomodate your amendment request. We reserve the right to charge a fee in relation to any amendments made to your booking, in addition to any other charges that are applicable to the amendments made.

Liability

We are not responsible for any mechanical breakdown to our vehicles as this is an unforeseen circumstance. We will endeavour to find an alternative form of transportation.

We are not responsible for any event cancelled or road delays due to weather conditions.

The passenger assumes full responsibility for keeping the vehicle clean and being respectful to the interior and exterior of the vehicle. Luggage and all personal items is to be placed carefully in the vehicles by both passengers and driver. We reserve the right to reject excessive luggage not previously itemised at the time of quotation as our quotations are based on the information provided by the client at the time of booking and a suitable vehicle is suggested based on this information. The client/passenger will be required to seek their own additional vehicle to transport the extra items undisclosed at their own cost.

Items forgotten in vehicle

We are not responsible for any items left by the passenger in the vehicles and is not responsible for returning them. Should an item be found left in the vehicle we will make every effort to contact the passenger and the passenger is responsible for the collection of their item.

Extended Times/Additional Routing Instructions

Within reason you may request an extra route or waiting time if time permits. However, if we are booked for another transfer and not able to fulfil your request then we are not obliged to honour your request. It is always important to stick with the scheduled agreed and paid for prior to the transfer.

Cancellation notice

  • Airport transfers: 24 hours notice required for cancellation.

  • Transfers from one location to another for individual or group passengers: 24 hours notice required for cancellation.

  • Weddings: cancellation and or refund up to 7 days prior to date of transfer.

  • Tours and Special Events: cancellation and or refund up to 7 days prior to date of transfer.

Please note additional fees such as bank account and administration fees specified are non-refundable in all instances.

Food

Clients and passengers can eat certain foods in our vehicles as long as they don't make a mess. The passenger must keep their seating area clean when they leave the vehicle. If there is any damage or cleaning needed, the client or passenger will have to pay for it.

Alcohol

Alcohol can be consumed in our vehicle by persons over 18, except on the way to/from school functions. Passengers are fully responsible for their alcohol consumption and any resulting consequences. We encourage responsible drinking and will not tolerate drunken or disorderly behavior. Intoxicated passengers may be asked to find alternate transportation at their own expense, with no refund. Our priority is the safety of our driver and vehicle, and providing excellent service to our clients.

In the event that the client or any member of the clients’ party causes damage to the vehicle, the client will be financially responsible to repair that damage. Interior cleaning and sanitization fee is $400.00.

Waiting/Over Time

We will always endeavour to accommodate clients who require excess time with our vehicles. Within reason and where possible, the vehicle will be made available to you for as long as possible after the specified period of your booking.

Wait time charges are applicable for over 15 minutes at 15 minute intervals and vary according to the time of day and purpose for the service.

All flights are tracked via radar and complimentary waiting times only begins from the moment the plane lands, regardless of any flight delays.

Complimentary waiting time

  • 15 minutes complimentary waiting time at homes, hotels or other non-airport pickups.

  • 30 minutes complimentary waiting time at Domestic Airport arrivals

  • 60 minutes complimentary waiting time at International Airport arrivals

Unforeseen circumstances

We will make every effort to arrive at your designated pick up location on time. However, there may be delays in reaching your destination due to unforeseen circumstances that are beyond our control such as congested traffic, road works and weather conditions, illness, vehicle breakdown etc.

In circumstances of a vehicle breakdown or mishap rendering the reserved vehicle out of commission, we reserve the right to substitute a vehicle. We will make every effort to supply an alternate vehicle and notify you prior to pick up.

Should we be unable to provide an alternate vehicle, a full refund of the amount paid will be issued.

No-Show

In circumstances where the client does not show up at the designated pick up location and no prior cancellation has been made, the full charge is applicable and no refund will be issued.
